Talking about little to do about much in Wonderland Magazine Fall Issue by David Uzochukwu. Read HERE.
I met Lucas Gabriel in Italy about three years ago with his brother. Very nice french man who played melancholic music. Last year, I asked him to open for me at Le Trianon in Paris and at le Transbordeur in Lyon. He plays a guitar with simple repetitive chords that i find quite hypnotic and free with a sense of nonchalance. Yet it begs the question of curiosity. Today he has released his song called Drifting Away. Tell me what you feel about it people and give him some love by liking his Facebook page HERE.

Sending a big thank you to America. To all the beautiful venues to the warm staffs, the food and of course the weather. Sending more to the people and the people for the people. It was far too short but little will be forgotten.
Missing you O friends of France!
A BLACK AMERICAN MAN
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a black American man.
A black American man whose angry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;
A black American man that looks at God all day,
And lifts their bony arms to pray;
A black American man that may in summer wear
A nest of golden necklace around his neck;
Upon whose bosom some white men will slay;
Who intimately lives with pain.
Poems are made by fools like this lad,
But only God can make a black American man.
